On 14 October, UNE reaffirms its commitment to shared progress and pays tribute to 14,000 of the finest experts from Spanish organizations who lead the development of standards.

​ The Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation, with which the Spanish Association for Standardization-UNE has been collaborating since 2003, has launched the campaign “Everyone with the Prado” in several printed media outlets that collaborate selflessly with the institution.​

The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, received at its headquarters a visit from two members of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). David Nix, Digital Transformation Officer, and Katharine Fraga, Director of Membership, Affiliates & Capacity Building, were hosted by Javier García, UNE's Director General and Vice-President of ISO.

According to The ISO Survey 2023 by ISO, whose national representative is UNE, Spain is ranked in the top 10 in the implementation of ISO technical standards.

The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, has joined the Residential Energy Efficiency Observatory in Spain (OREVE) with the aim of driving Spain's energy transition and decarbonization goals. ​

The ISO has published the first global standard with guidelines to help organisations to meet the United Nations SDGs. The open source document is available on the UNE website.

The Director General of UNE, Javier García, has been reelected for two more years as Vice-President of ISO during the ISO General Assembly, held in Colombia.
