Better implementation of the activity of standardisation

Contributing to more and better implementation of the activity of standardization and to its development, while at the same time focusing the efforts of all stakeholders on this implementation and development.

Private Sector and Public Administrations

Collaborating with the private sector and Public Administrations and Bodies to achieve the most widespread implementation and use of standardization activities and, thus, to address major challenges of the likes of climate change, the sustainable use of resources and the environment, research and innovation, the ageing of the population, integration of people with disabilities, protection of consumers and users, the competitiveness of companies, worker safety and working conditions, for the sake of public interest.

Promoting Spanish participation in international and regional standardization organizations, especially in Latin America, and representing Spain therein in the corresponding terms, while assuming the rights and duties inherent to such representation, as an instrument of cooperation for development.
