The Standing Committee's functions include the supervision and monitoring of compliance and execution by the Association's General Management of all the guidelines and objectives set by the Board of Directors; it will propose to the Board of Directors the Association's action plans and programmes that it considers appropriate; it will oversee compliance with the plans and programmes approved by the Board of Directors, notifying the board of the same; it will supervise and monitor the operation of technical bodies and services; it will adopt proposals for agreements related to all kinds of actions, claims and appeals brought before any organisation or jurisdiction, raising the proposal with the Board of Directors; it will process proposals with the Board of Directors on breaches of the provisions of the Statues and Rules of Procedure, proposing measures where applicable, etc
