On Tuesday, 12 November, the Spanish Association for Standardization held a UNE Information Seminar: "Review of the standard on risk management for patient safety", where it explained the need to update the standard UNE 179003 Health services. Risk management for patient safety and an appeal was made to take part in this review.
The purpose of this review is to improve its wording to better clarify the requirements and update them with the experience of use and with the current needs of the healthcare sector.
During the seminar, there was a presentation on how Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa and Clínica CEMTRO apply the standard and, in addition, attendees were able to share opinions on the topics that should be taken into account in its review process.
