On Friday, 23 May, the Chairman of the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, Alfredo Berges, attended the event to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Unión Profesional in the Senate.
In 2023, UNE and Unión Profesional signed a partnership agreement to improve the benefits of standards for licensed professions. Unión Profesional is also a UNE member.
Unión Profesional currently comprises 36 General and Upper Councils and State Professional Associations, with more than 1,200 professional associations and regional delegations that group together 1,500,000 licensed professionals in Spain. The union covers the legal, health, economic, social, scientific, architecture, engineering and teaching sectors, with an interdisciplinary and holistic approach.
