The Spanish Metrology Centre (CEM) is organising the webinar on Metrology for a digital, sustainable and clean industry on 25 February to mark European Industry Week.
The online event will be attended by leading experts from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, the European Commission, industry, universities, national metrology institutes and the CEM, who will be addressing digitisation in an environment of clean and sustainable energy use.
The digital transformation of society, and industry in particular, requires a multi-focused action where measurable parameters and reliable data are key elements for effective transformation. This is where metrology plays a decisive role and must accompany this digital transformation.
Free registration for the event can be done online until 20 February via the following form.
The CEM forms part of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE. Both entities, together with ENAC (the National Accreditation Body) are strategic partners that constitute the three main pillars of quality infrastructure in Spain.
The joint work carried out by the companies results in contributions that support the industry to meet its challenges in terms of digitisation and ecological transformation, as well as in improving its competitiveness.
