The Deputy Director General to the CEO of the Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group, Víctor García Brosa, was appointed chairman of the Cement Manufacturers Association of Spain (Oficemen) at its most recent management board meeting. García Brosa, who takes over from Jesús Ortiz Used, CEO of HeidelbergCement in Spain, will lead all the Spanish cement industry's initiatives aimed at addressing the current situation in the sector. García Brosa has worked in the cement sector since 2005, when he joined the Cementos Portland Valderrivas Group to set up the Strategic Planning Department.
