UNE incorporates ten new partners

01/03/2023

The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, has added ten important business associations and organisations to its more than 500 members: the National Association of Expanded Polystyrene (ANAPE), the Association of Overhead Lines (ALA), the Association of Industrial and Commercial Vehicle Transformers and Converters (ASCATRAVI), the Spanish Association of Distributors, Self-Service and Supermarkets (ASEDAS), the Spanish Association of Fire Protection Equipment and Systems Installers and Maintainers (AERME), the Spanish Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (APA), the Spanish Association of the Digital Economy (ADIGITAL), the Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of Zaragoza (FEMZ), the Official College of Physicists (COFIS), and the European Toner and Inkjet Remanufacturers Association (ETIRA).

With the integration of these new members, UNE consolidates its associative base, which constitutes the driving force and support of the Spanish standardisation system. The Spanish Standards Organisation is an exemplary model of public-private collaboration. Through UNE, its members can actively contribute to building a safer, more sustainable and competitive world by developing technical standards.

From now on, the new members will have access to a number of benefits of belonging to UNE, the only national standards body, and to its global multi-sectoral network. They will also be able to participate in key international and European standards and have access to standards under special conditions.

Individuals and entities interested in business excellence and social awareness have a place in UNE as corporate members (sector associations), members (companies and institutions) and individuals.
