On 30 April at 12:00pm, the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, will be giving a presentation on the webinar "A quick guide to using technical standards in specifications." This is part of the series of webinars on #contratacionpublicaencasa, organised by the Public Procurement Ecosystem Platform (PECOP), in which specific public procurement topics are addressed, such as artistic procurement, the impact of COVID-19, how to improve tenders, etc.
Daniel Massó, Head of Knowledge and Education at UNE, will summarise the content of the "Guide to the use of technical standards and accreditation in public procurement". This is a free document published together with the Spanish Accreditation Body (ENAC) and which has served as the basis for a similar document from the European Commission. This initiative allows us to raise awareness on the role of quality infrastructures in relevant sectors, such as public procurement, which accounts for around 20% of our country's GDP.
Participation in this webinar is free.
