The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, is participating in the 34th Digital Economy and Telecommunications Summit: "Digitisation and Sustainability for the Recovery of Society. Now or Never", organized by AMETIC, in collaboration with Banco Santander and Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP), which is taking place from 2 to 4 September.
Tanía Marcos, Director of Quality and Smart Cities at UNE, will be speaking at the round table 'Post-COVID Safety in Smart Cities', to be held on 2 September at 16:45. At the meeting, leading experts from public and private organisations will be contributing their experience and vision in this field.
During her speech, the UNE representative will explain the key role of standards in supporting smart cities in the current scenario, harmonising best practices and promoting areas such as digitisation, sustainability, security, resilience or mobility, among others.
AMETIC has been a member of UNE since its founding and actively participates in the development of key standards for the competitiveness and digitisation of organisations.
