UNE with the 2nd International Indoor Air Quality Conference

16/11/2020

The Spanish Association for Standardisation-UNE, collaborates with the 2nd International Indoor Air Quality Conference (2020 CAI Conference), which will take place online on 26 and 27 November.

The event is organized by the Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers Association (AFEC); the Standard Spanish Technical Association for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ATECYR) and the Federation of Indoor Environmental Quality Companies (FEDECAI).

Due to the international health crisis caused by the pandemic, ventilation with outdoor air has become one of the hottest topics in relation to operating and maintaining buildings used for any purpose. Aware of this, the first topic to be discussed at the 2nd Indoor Air Quality Conference will be the aerial transmission of bioaerosols containing SARS-CoV-2, and how air conditioning and ventilation systems help prevent the spread of the virus.

The three organizing associations have been intensifying their activities for months to meet the needs of the air conditioning, refrigeration and indoor air quality sector.

AFEC, ATECYR and FEDECAI are members of UNE and lead the development of standards that are key for the competitiveness of their partners and to effectively respond to the challenges of organizations and society.

UNE members get a 50% discount on the conference registration fee, which they can apply when registering online, after sending an email to UNE normalizacion@une.org
