UNE Magazine, latest issue now available

The latest issue of the UNE magazine is now available:

• Annual Plan: What is going to be standardised in 2020?1,800 new standards will be published throughout 2020. All of them help companies and the Public Administrations to improve productivity and competitiveness, sustainability, digitisation, social progress or internationalisation.
• COVID-19: free access to standards against Coronavirus. More than 20 standards are available, free of charge, to facilitate the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and essential medical devices in the face of the current health emergency.
• CTN 34/SC 10: Spanish drive for European standards on food authenticity. MAPA and UNE promote the creation of a new subcommittee on standardization that will allow Spain to define its position in future European standards in this field.
• According to the members: "Standards have great value, promoting a more competitive market". Interview with Pilar Budí, General Director of the Association of Air Conditioning Equipment Manufacturers (AFEC).
• SDG 13: climate action. More than 750 UNE standards help organizations to comply with SDG 13 and to promote best environmental management practices in a broad sense.

• Standards in our life: The home - Bathroom 5/5. Behind the shower tray, the washbasin tap, toothbrushes or towels there are UNE standards that allow many of the objects and elements that we find in a bathroom to be safe.
• ISO FOCUS: What does e-commerce have in store for us?ISO has created a new technical committee, ISO/TC 321, which will develop international standards to guarantee the quality of transactions in electronic commerce.
