UNE magazine's October issue is now available

​The latest issue of the UNE magazine is now available: 

• Standardization, a gateway to the ecological transition. In this report we explain how UNE standards drive the ecological transition and we learn about the perspectives of the Administration, international and European standardisation, and relevant Spanish industries.

• Standardization in action: CTN 323 Circular economy. This committee is Spain's channel of influence in the development of international and European standards that will help organizations to successfully overcome their challenges within the Circular Economy. It consists of over 170 experts from nearly 90 public and private organizations.

• From digital CE marking to construction 4.0. The industry now has a new format for sharing information on CE marking for construction products in the value chain, thanks to Standard UNE 41316.
  

• The members speak: "Standards are essential for concrete". Interview with Carlos Peraita, General Director of the Spanish National Association of Ready-Concrete Manufacturers (ANEFHOP).

• Standards in our lives: Tattoos. Standard UNE-EN 17169 establishes a series of requirements, which are common throughout Europe, to ensure that the entire tattoo process is carried out with the maximum protection for the customer and the tattoo artist. It applies to both studios and conventions.

• ISO FOCUS: Well-being, now more than ever. The ISO, through the technical committee ISO/TC 228 on tourism and related services, which is headed by Spain, must play a key role in confronting the crisis caused by COVID-19. This committee develops standards on best practices to improve the services provided and give tourists objective elements to make an informed decision.
