UNE Magazine, March edition now available

28/03/2019

El número de marzo de la UNE magazine is now available:

  • Sustainable Development Objectives: SDO 2: Zero hunger: the UN's second Sustainable Development Goal seeks to eradicate hunger throughout the world. To achieve this, it is fundamental to focus on the most vulnerable communities. Here we analyse the technical standards that contribute to achieving this goal.
  • What the members are saying: "Spain is leading Europe in fire safety cables": interview with Alejandro Saenger, General Secretary of the Spanish Association of Electric Wire and Optic Fibre Manufacturers (FACEL).
  • ISO FOCUS: designing a connected future: in 2018, ISO and IEC published the first international standard providing a reference architecture for the Internet of Things (IoT). Its application will facilitate a more effective, safe, resilient, and much more protected IoT.
  • Standardisation in action: CTN 73 Nuclear power, technologies: CTN 73 has 124 standards involving the security, design, and construction requirements for nuclear power plants, among other aspects.
  • Standards in our life; World Theatre Day: UNE standards also contribute to the magic of the stage. Many of them ensure that professionals working both in front of and behind the curtain can carry out their work in the best possible conditions. And that the public can enjoy the event in safety.

The digital edition includes links to the ISO and IEC magazines and to the supplement Normas al día (Updated standards).

You can read it on any device and searching for articles is simple, plus, you can use it to share them on social media #RevistaUNE.
