UNE Magazine, June issue now available

The latest issue of the UNE magazine is now available:

  • Activity 2020: What happened in Spanish standardization in 2020?In 2020, UNE focused its efforts on alleviating the health emergency and supporting the recovery of the Spanish economy, with several measures to overcome COVID-19 which earned it several recognitions from society. UNE added 1,999 new standards to the Spanish catalogue, a record number, with effective solutions to major business challenges.
  • UNE's OVM as a safe and fair opportunity for everyoneThe creation of the Market Surveillance Observatory (OVM) is an opportunity to establish a basis for collaboration between responsible companies and market surveillance authorities based on mutual trust and a common goal.
  • Cybersecurity standards for smart mobility. The Cybersecurity Standardisation Report for Connected and Automated Mobility of Vehicles and their Environment anticipates the development of cooperative intelligent transport systems and advances in vehicle-environment connectivity.
  • Standards in action: CTN 72 Lighting and colour. This committee is responsible for the standardization of light and lighting characteristics, such as colour or requirements for illuminating indoor and outdoor spaces. It also covers supports and columns for lighting, including harmonized marking standards of the European Commission.
  • Standards in our lives: Construction. More than 5,000 UNE standards are related to the construction sector, which represents 17% of the UNE standards catalogue. Standards add safety and quality to any construction process. Here are just a few of them.
