UNE magazine, July and August issue available

The July and August issue of the UNE magazine is now available:

• UNE-ISO 20252: market research quality. The new UNE-ISO 20252 is better aligned with the requirements of ISO 9001. It simplifies the existing quality standards and updates requirements for new technologies, among other items.
  

• International cooperation: improving the business climate in Ukraine. UNE is developing an international cooperation project in Ukraine with a view to strengthening competitiveness and innovation.
  

• Sustainable Development Goals: Clean water and sanitation for all. Nearly 900 standards help organisations to achieve the SDG 6.
  

• The members speak: "Standards are key to ensuring the integrity of the unions and security". Interview with Fernando Mañas, General Director of the Spanish Association of Welding and Union Technologies (CESOL).
  

• Standards in our lives: swimming pools. They attract many visitors in the summer, and they are required to meet specific safety requirements. Many of them are covered by UNE standards.
  

• Standardisation in action: CTN 182 Hotels and tourist apartments. Spain is the first country to implement the international standard ISO 22483 on tourism and related services, based on the UNE 182001, and drawn up by the same technical committee.
  

• ISO Focus: Towards a cleaner future Governments, companies and consumers face the challenge of reducing fossil fuel consumption. Beyond technology. The standards of the ISO/TC 207 help us to glimpse solutions to the most pressing environmental challenges.
