UNE Magazine, latest issue now available

The latest issue of UNE magazine is now available:

• First Market Surveillance Observatory Report. UNE has published the first report with an analysis of the activity in this field during 2019 - 2020, where it was observed that the majority of nonconformities occur in toys. followed by personal protective equipment and small electrical equipment.
• Guidelines for Good Teleworking Practice. The new UNE Specification 0067 proposes a set of good practices in the implementation of teleworking in organizations: trust, equipment, training and people management.
• New standards to promote Smart Tourism Destinations. The UNE Subcommittee on Tourism Destinations supports the SEGITTUR project, evolving towards a more competitive model with the development of standards on Wi-Fi connections on beaches and the creation of websites, among others.
• According to the members: Interview with Andrés Barceló, Managing Director of UNESID. Standardization guides the different industrial sectors in specific and horizontal aspects.
• Standards in our life: Cleaning services. Safety and quality requirements for cleaning services elements, such as detergents, ventilation ducts and surface appliances, are found in UNE standards.
• UNE Cork Subcommittee. CTN 56/SC5 is working on the development of new standards to facilitate the measurement of oxygen permeability of cork stoppers and the calculation of their carbon footprint.
