The Association of Engineering, Assembly, Maintenance and Industrial Service Companies (ADEMI) has recently held its General Assembly. At the end, its chairman, Rafael Martín de Bustamante, and Cristina Costa Bernardo, chairwoman of the Association's Quality and Environment Committee, received recognition from UNE for their commitment and involvement in standardisation. The commemorative plaque was awarded by Julián Caballero, Deputy Director General of UNE.
According to Julián Caballero "ADEMI is an Association with a firm commitment to the activity of standardisation and it actively participates in the development of standards in about ten technical bodies of UNE, in the Technical Standardisation Committees TSC 58 on Elevation and Transportation Machinery and in the TSC 178 on Intelligent Cities. ADEMI has been a member of UNE since 1998 and has formed part of its Board of directors since 2006, uninterruptedly, making a very relevant contribution."
