We recently held the UNE Meeting on The Present and Future of Machinery: the new European Regulation.
At the event, experts from government agencies and private sectors from Spanish industry reported on the most important aspects of the New European Machinery Regulations that is being developed within the European Commission, and they analysed the current use of harmonized standards under the current Machinery Directive (Directive 2006/42/EC).
Also presented were practical use cases and future adaptations to the new Regulation, and the open general consultation process for the entire machinery sector was discussed, which represents a great industrial opportunity for Spain.
