Sustainable Development Goals

25/02/2019

The world's population, on the whole, lives better today than a decade ago; however, the progress needed to guarantee that such basic development benefits as food safety reach all human beings on Earth by 2030 are not moving fast enough and need an urgent push. On 25 September 2015, the world's leaders adopted a set of global goals to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.

The Spanish Association for Standardisation, UNE, supports all economic sectors in the development of UNE standards that facilitate the fulfilment of the SDGs, providing a shared language for organisations to communicate their actions and strategies more effectively to stakeholders in both the private and public spheres.
