The Association of ICT Professionals of Catalonia (APTICC) - composed of the Catalan Association of Telecommunications Engineers (Telecos.cat), the Professional Association of Computer Science Engineers of Catalonia (COEINF), and the GrausTIC Association - are organising a meeting in Barcelona on 15 May to commemorate World Telecommunications and Information Society Day (WTISD).
The meeting "Reducing the breach in standardisation" pursues the objective of explaining the numerous questions that exist around the irruption of the 5G (edge computing, artificial intelligence, Big data); similarly, the challenges generated by the series of technologies will be addressed: intelligent networks, artificial intelligence, blockchain and quantum, etc, as well as the need for a standardisation of solutions and, therefore, of a clear and sufficiently flexible regulation.
