On 4 December, the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Consumer Affairs and Social Welfare, will hold a seminar on Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 on Market Surveillance and Product Compliance. The event will take place in the Quality Control and Research Centre.
This Regulation was published last June and will enter into force progressively between January and July 2021. Its objective is to improve the functioning of the internal market by strengthening market surveillance.
This seminar will reveal this Regulation from the point of view of the different public Administrations responsible for implementing it. In addition, the impressions of various industrial sectors affected will be available, and how all of them can benefit from the use of UNE standards as a tool to support their implementation.
