"Support for standardization in the tourism sector" is the latest
report drawn up by the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE.
Among other issues, the report addresses the extensive network of tourism technical committees covering virtually all activity subsectors, from accommodation to travel agencies, ski resorts, mountain resorts, and convention bureaus.
Standards are instruments at the service of the industry, and this is understood by tourism entrepreneurs who have not hesitated to collaborate with the other actors involved to construct, via consensus, standards that will be the benchmark for the industry; these standards are fundamental in tackling the principal challenges in the tourism sector.
