The European standardisation bodies CEN and CENELEC, within the CEN-CENELEC JTC 11, with the promotion and support of the European Commission, have just published the first European standard on accessibility of the built environment, EN 17210: 2021.
Shortly it will be complemented with two European Technical Reports on technical specifications to meet the functional requirements set out in the standard and on its conformity assessment.
The workshop is particularly aimed at those responsible for public procurement, for the drafting of legal regulations, the design of public buildings and spaces, and anyone interested in having more accessible spaces.
The workshop will be held in English. There will be live international sign language interpretation and live subtitles in English.
