The Logimatic R&D&i project was successfully completed

18/10/2019

The Horizon 2020 Innovation project, Logimatic, was successfully completed, following the meeting hosted by the European Space Agency in Prague. The Spanish Standarization Association, UNE, has played an active role in this project, promoting and coordinating the standardisation activities. It lasted for 42 months.

Logimatic is an innovation project that aims to increase the capacity of container terminals in ports by automating key activities.

Logimatic proposes an ad hoc navigation and localisation solution capable of allowing the automation of vehicles at a significantly lower cost, which will allow for short- and medium-term investments until, in the long term, the entire fleet in ports is renewed with totally automated vehicles.
