The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, will be hosting the online meeting Needs for standardisation in Cybersecurity for Smart Mobility on 3 June from 10:00 to 12:00.
At the online event, the Report Standardization in Cybersecurity for Connected and Automated Mobility of vehicles and their environment will be presented, published by UNE, in collaboration with the organizations participating in the technical standardization group CTN 320/GT CAV "Cybersecurity in the Vehicle Environment".
In it, the technical standardisation bodies are examined, and the most relevant initiatives and standards related to Cybersecurity and Privacy, in the general field of the Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) sector and in the particular case of Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)
The report highlights the need for new technical standards in the field of the Connected and Automated Mobility sector to address the inherent cybersecurity and privacy risks associated with technological advances in this field.
The contribution of standardisation to these areas adds significant support to the cybersecurity in smart mobility, which is useful both for public and private entities.
Future standards on Smart Mobility and Connectivity will facilitate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 9, 11 and 17.
Registration for the online event is open now. When you register, you will receive the connection link, which will be activated on day of the meeting.
