General guidelines for the New Spanish Industrial Policy 2030

07/03/2019

The General guidelines for the New Spanish Industrial Policy 2030, presented by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, indicate that the industrial policy of the future must be governed by an improvement in productivity and competitiveness, an increase in the industry's weight in the national GDP, sustainability and decarbonisation of the economy, digitisation, and internationalisation.

This industrial policy would be articulated around 10 areas of action, in the EJE 10 of Internationalisation, which establishes activities aligned with the Action Plan for the Internationalisation of the Spanish Economy 2019-2020, with explicit reference to UNE and ENAC, recognising technical standards and mechanisms of conformity assessment as key elements for export and the internationalisation of Spanish industry.
