The standardization subcommittee CTN 71/SC 41 IoT and Related technologies will develop standards in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT) and sensor networks, aimed at guaranteeing the interoperability and reliability of these networks and devices, both generic and for specific sectors.
In addition, the CTN 71/SC 42 Artificial Intelligence and Big Data subcommittee will develop standards applicable to these technologies, covering aspects such as reference architecture, risk management, reliability and other technical matters, as well as other standards related to the ethical and social aspects linked to the use of these technologies.
These two standardization subcommittees are integrated into the Technical Standardization Committee
CTN 71 on Digital Enabling Technologies (DET) created by UNE last April and promoted by the SEAD. This subcommittee aims to foster the development of new digital technologies among the country's economic sectors, by drawing up and using standards governing these new markets.
The standards are key to the success of the digital revolution, guaranteeing interoperability and trust in the digital transformation process.
The meeting to establish these technical standardization bodies took place yesterday in Madrid.
