Spain's production of vehicles reached 1,630,231 units during the first half of the year, a growth of 4.24% over the same period last year. In June, 278,748 vehicles were manufactured, an increase of 7.12% driven by the high production rate of passenger cars, which experienced a growth of 11%, four-wheel drive vehicles, with almost 23% growth, and light commercial vehicles, with 9.6% growth. In addition, exports were a key factor in June, with a significant increase of 12.88% thanks to the positive performance of the markets in France, Germany and Eastern Europe, as well as due to the recovery of exports to destinations in North Africa, such as Algeria and Egypt.
