Bernardo Velázquez, Chairman of UNESID (Union of Spanish Iron and Steel Companies), has been appointed Chair of the International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF), the worldwide association of stainless steel manufacturers. UNESID is the association of steel-producing companies and of products of first-stage steel processing in Spain. Created in 1968, throughout its history it has collaborated in the coordination of Spanish and European companies. UNESID is a founding member of the Spanish Confederation of Employers' Organizations (CEOE) and belongs to worldsteel and EUROFER.
