AIMPLAS receives the UNE 2025 Standardisation and Innovation award

29/05/2025

The Spanish Association for Standardization presented the 2025 UNE Standardisation and Innovation Award to the technology centre AIMPLAS, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to implementing and promoting the integration of standardisation into R&D&I activities. Eva Bejarano, Head of Tenders and Standardisation at AIMPLAS, received this award during UNE's General Assembly.

The Plastics and Related Materials Research Association is a Technology Centre with more than 35 years of experience in the plastics sector, adding value to companies and helping to solve society's challenges through R&D&I. It is a corporate member of UNE and participates in its governing bodies. In the technical field, it participates in 34 technical standardisation committees of UNE, CEN, and ISO, where, in addition to serving as a member, it also holds other roles of responsibility such as chairing or coordinating working groups.

It also includes standardisation activities in many new innovation projects proposed for European Union funding, for which it regularly relies on UNE as a strategic partner.

With the Standardisation and Innovation Award, UNE recognises people and organisations in the field of research and innovation that stand out for their contributions in integrating or promoting standardisation into research, development and innovation activities. Its purpose is to spread knowledge of standardisation in the Spanish and international innovative and research community, as well as to increase awareness of the benefits it provides to R&D&I activities and, therefore, to promote their use in this framework.
