The Spanish National Federation of Facilities Business Owners (Federación Nacional de Empresarios de Instalaciones de España, or FENIE) and AMBILAMP/AMBIAFME, a non-profit organisation that brings together the major lighting companies with the goal of developing a system for the collection and treatment of waste from lamps and lighting (known as RAEE waste products), have entered into a collaboration agreement. The two institutions have undertaken to jointly create and develop an Action Plan to promote the recycling of waste from lighting and electrical equipment in electrical installation companies associated with FENIE. The actions set out in this plan will be carried out during 2018.
