The Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE) took part in the 38th Digital Economy and Telecommunications Meeting, organized by AMETIC, the Menéndez Pelayo International University and Banco Santander.
Head of Service Industry Business at UNE, Elena Ordozgoiti, took part in the table “Talent, new players. Leaders in transformation”, moderated by Elena Díaz-Alejo, President of AMETIC's Digital Talent Development Committee, member of UNE.
During her speech, she explained the key role of UNE standards in areas such as artificial intelligence and education in supporting digital evolution, training and social change, which are the cornerstones of AMETIC's proposal for the Government Agreement for Education and Training.
Elena Ordozgoiti illustrated this role with various examples, highlighting the standards on risk management (EN ISO/IEC 23894) and ethical aspects in artificial intelligence, standards relating to the improvement of service quality in educational centres and the standard on establishing collaborative relationships between universities and companies (ISO/44006).
AMETIC has been a member of UNE since its founding and actively participates in the development of key standards for the digitization of organizations.
