The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, participated on Wednesday, 15 January, in Tech Business PlaNET 25 Madrid, an
international event for technological innovation in business that is promoted by the Clústers ecosystem, HUBs of Innovation and entrepreneurship centres in the Community of Madrid.
Elena Ordozgoiti, Head of the Services Sector Business at UNE, took part in the discussion: “Optimizing the distribution of goods: Standardization as a key driver for more efficient logistics”, where she presented the key role of standards in the logistics chain, promoting competitiveness and coordination and ensuring the supply chain.
The discussion was moderated by Ramón García, Director General of CITET, and also featured: Susana Gómez, Deputy Director General of Transport and Mobility of the Community of Madrid; Enrique Sánchez, Director General of Standtrack; José María Iglesias, Deputy Director of Mobility at EMT Madrid; and Javier Carvajal, head of the Department of Mobility Planning at the City Council of Madrid.
