19/02/2025

On 26 February, the “Automation and Creation of Environments through Lighting” conference will be run, organised by the Spanish Association of Lighting Manufacturers (ANFALUM) with the support of the Spanish Association for Standardisation, UNE. This is the second event of the 7th Transforming Lighting. It will be held in person at the APIEM headquarters (Calle Magallanes, 36. Madrid), from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Chairman of UNE and CEO of ANAFALUM, Alfredo Berges, will be open the session, together with Ángel Bonet, Chairman of APIEM.

Over the course of four blocks, the guests will address the changes that lighting automation and the design of smart environments using it will bring about in business premises, offices and hotels.

The line-up of speakers is completed by: Arístides Pérez, Head of Offices & BDM Solutions & Services at TRICULUX; Ricardo Pomatta, Technical Director of ANFALUM; and Manuel Cabrera, Technical Director of APIEM.

Transforming Lighting is the leading event in the world of lighting. It is now firmly established as a preeminent forum for sharing knowledge and experience, showcasing the importance of lighting in everyday life as well as in architectural and urban design.

ANFALUM is a founding member of UNE and part of its Governing Board. It leads the development of key standards to enable its partners to compete. Created in 1981, the Association brings together manufacturers of luminaires, light sources, components, lighting regulation and control systems, lighting poles and columns who represent the entire Spanish sector.

Registration for the conference will open in the coming days.
