11/02/2025

The Spanish Association for Standardisation has published the new Standard UNE 330000-6 Requirements for the certification scheme of persons in the field of industrial safety. Part 6: Self-propelled mobile crane operator.

This document establishes the conditions and requirements that make up and regulate the operation of the Scheme for the Certification of Persons for the category of mobile crane and the interrelationships between the different Agents that are involved in this certification under accreditation conditions, in support of Royal Decree 837/2003.

It has been drawn up by the UNE Committee for the Certification of Persons in Industrial Safety (CTN-UNE 330), a secretariat of UNE, chaired by the National Accreditation Entity, ENAC, and with the Ministry of Industry and Tourism as vice-president. It has been coordinated by the National Business Association of Public Service Crane Renters (ANAGRUAL) in Working Group WG 6: ‘Mobile cranes’, with the participation of ACERTES; ANMOPYC; CERTIFIQUE; INSPECONTROL; FANAGRUMAC; FEM-AEM; Community of Madrid; Government of the Principality of Asturias; Government of the Principality of Asturias; and Generalitat de Catalunya.

UNE, CEM (Spanish Metrology Centre) and ENAC are the three basic pillars of the Spanish quality infrastructure. The joint work of these three entities in metrology, accreditation and standardisation boosts the competitiveness of the Spanish productive fabric and provides security for citizens.
