UNE and the Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation renew their agreement to promote culture

17/06/2022

  • The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, has been a "Corporate Friend of the Prado Museum" since 2003 to promote social welfare and to spread culture.

Madrid, 17 June 2022 - The Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, and the Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation have renewed their agreement for the promotion, support and development of culture in Spain. In line with its social commitments, UNE once again partners with the Foundation to promote cultural projects and educational actions related to the activities of the Prado National Museum.

This collaboration began in 2003, when the Spanish Association for Standardization itself became a "Corporate Friend of the Prado Museum". "One of UNE's fundamental pillars is to serve society, creating spaces for collaboration and dialogue, as well as standards that serve the interests of all citizens. In this regard, our commitment to culture is a fundamental value for its development", explains Javier García, CEO of UNE.

With this agreement, the UNE reinforces its firm commitment to being a "Friendly Institution", joining the network of organizations that collaborate in the implementation of programmes and activities approved by the Foundation's Board of Trustees.

UNE contributes to the well-being of society with a mission of corporate social responsibility, acting as an exemplary organisation in good corporate governance through best practices.
