Spain leads in Europe in the use of standards in Horizon 2020 R&D&I projects

The application of standards represent up to 5% of a company's sales revenue.

• The Spanish Association for Standardisation-UNE is taking part in 24 projects to help researchers and companies successfully launch their products or technologies onto the market using standards.

• Standardisation provides an efficient response to the new challenges faced by organisations in fields such as innovation, export, Industry 4.0, digitisation, cybersecurity, compliance and corporate social responsibility. Standards also provide a boost to public policy processes.
