29/01/2018

It is due to be published in March of this year.

• The ISO Committee has ratified the final draft of ISO 45001, a document that has been long-awaited in the economic world. 100 experts across over 70 countries have reach a consensus on the best practices for implementing an occupational health and safety system that will help to improve the conditions of workers all around the world.

• The publication of this the ISO 45001 is expected to result in the cancellation of the OHSAS 18001 benchmark standard. Therefore, companies with this certification will have a deadline of three years to wrap up migration to ISO 45001. In Spain there are currently thousands of companies certified with OHSAS 18001.
