Spain will approve two new standards on smart cities

05/06/2017

Overall, 22 standards have already been published in this field

They will establish criteria that allow a city that is accessible to be distinguished and the minimum requirements that outdoor street lighting systems must comply with. These documents have been drafted by the Spanish Association for Standardisation, UNE.

Spain is an international reference in the standardisation of smart cities: UNE guidelines are the basis for creating international standards and Spanish experts occupy senior roles in European and international groups in this field.
