New UNE standard for drafting DNSH reports

30/03/2023

The Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE) has held the meeting New standard for drafting DNSH reports, where it presented the UNE 0076 Specification, which provides practical elements to facilitate the drafting of self-assessment reports applying the DNSH principle (Do No Significant Harm) to the six environmental objectives set out in the European Union's "taxonomy regulations." The funding programmes increasingly demand this principle, making it a key element for many organizations. This new standard will be available on the UNE website.

In fact, its compliance is essential in order to be eligible to apply for European Next Generation funds, which will be providing 140,000 million euros in funding to organizations in the coming years, within the Spanish Government's Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

The meeting, which was held at the headoffices of UNE, was attended by Paloma García (UNE); Adelaide Sacristán (COTEC Foundation for Innovation); Daniel Gallego and María Luisa López (ACIE-Spanish Certification Agency); Iván Moya (UNE); Marcos Escudero (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism); José Luis Ortiz (Airbus Defence and Space Spain); María Luisa Merchán (Grupo Tragsa); and Roberto Martinez (Polytechnic University of Madrid).
