We recently held a UNE Gathering New UNE Standard on Labelling EU Fertilizing Products, where we presented the new UNE Standard 142406, which lays out the general labelling requirements for fertilizers in the EU that are most represented in the Spanish market.
The information shown on labels or accompanying documents for EU bulk fertilizing products must be sufficiently transparent to facilitate the quality control of the product, to guarantee the protection of the farmer's interests, and to verify the certification provided by the marketer.
The UNE standard helps to clarify and combine the presentation requirements set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 for the labelling of the most common EU fertilizing products on the Spanish market.
