UNE meeting: European Regulation on Machinery

​​​On 17 September, the Spanish Association for Standardization held the UNE Meeting on the European Machinery directive, in hybrid format, with the aim of creating an interest group within the UNE Corporate Members, whose common thread is industrial machinery; enhancing interaction among them by sharing challenges, leveraging synergies, and strengthening ties, as well as providing information on the new European Machinery Regulation. Technical standards are strategic allies of the Spanish machinery industry, helping it comply with various regulations and boosting exports both in Europe and internationally. At this UNE Meeting, guest speakers included Ignacio Cáceres from the Andalusian Regional Government; Elena García from the Ministry of Industry and Tourism; Miryam Ibarrondo from ENAC; Ana Gorrotxategi from INVEMA; Emilio Allue from ANSEMAT; and Paloma García, Isabel Linares and Francisco Luis Arribas from UNE.​
