The Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE) and the General Council for Industrial Technical Engineering of Spain (COGITI) held, on 25 June, at the headquarters of the College of Graduate Industrial Technical Engineers of Madrid (COGITIM), the UNE-COGITI Gathering: "Presentation of standard UNE 202013 on the maintenance of low-voltage electrical installations".
During the session, professionals in the sector had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the updated criteria of this new Standard, which sets out the guidelines for customised preventive maintenance in low-voltage installations, supporting and complementing the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulation (REBT).
The meeting served to present a key tool for the sector, designed to facilitate the maintenance of low voltage electrical installations through guidelines that contribute to improving the safety, reliability and service of these installations.
In addition, basic recommended actions were presented for maintenance personnel, adapted to the type and characteristics of each installation.
The event saw the participation of José Antonio Galdón, Chair of COGITI; Alfredo Berges, Chair of UNE; David Jiménez, Technical Director of AFME and Secretary of CTN-UNE 202/SC64/GTVI; Luis Alberto Peñaloza, Project Manager at UNE; José Carlos López Díaz-Regañón, Representative of the CTN-UNE 202 /SC64 /GTVI; and Francesc Amer, promoter and presenter of the Standard.
