On 4 December, the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, held its traditional annual Meeting of Chairpersons and Secretaries of CTN-UNE 2023 at its headquarters in hybrid format. The session was attended by representatives of leading business associations, companies, public administrations and other relevant Spanish entities that are members of UNE.
The aim of this session is to exchange experiences on the standardisation needs of Spanish organisations, through the chairpersons and secretaries of CTN-UNE, in order to provide an effective response to their major challenges in an increasingly global, complex and competitive environment, and in line with UNE's Strategy 2025.
The session addressed opportunities for the development of standardisation programmes; the international and European leadership of Spanish standardisation and the progress made in the digitalisation of the standardisation system; the new possibilities of access to UNE standards; draft rules and legislation and next steps; good practices in competition law or the result of the CTN-UNE secretariat survey.
UNE's President, Alfredo Berges, welcomed the attendees, while UNE's General Director, Javier García, closed the event.
