Field of Activity:
Standardization of: Furniture, including terminology, features and installation of their components and accessories, specifications for performance, as well as the test methods and specifications. Excluding: - Carpentry of frames, wooden joinery furniture, kitchen and bathroom modular furniture units, office work furniture and clinical furniture; - Mattresses, bases and their accessories. NOTE: By furniture is meant free-standing or built-in units which are used for storing, lying, sitting, working and eating.
