Technical support projects

The Directorate for International Cooperation and Relations is responsible for implementing, in all its stages, technical support projects in developing countries. It focuses its activities on projects financed by multilateral (European Union, World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, etc.) and bilateral entities like GIZ or Swedish Aid, aimed at strengthening the quality infrastructure capacity of organisations; promoting institutional support, public policies, competitiveness in the private sector and best practices; and facilitating trade by eliminating technical barriers in all sectors.

International cooperation activities

Since the nineties the Spanish Association for Standardization - UNE has promoted cooperation activities, contributing its experience and knowledge as market access, technology transfer and sustainable growth tools; fostering EU and Spanish international policies; and harmonising the access requirements to other markets.

Tailor-made projects

The Directorate for International Cooperation and Relations is responsible for strengthening relationships with peer entities by developing tailor-made projects, signing MoUs, and organising institutional visits.

Leadership and experience

The leadership and experience gained in all the disciplines covered by our organisation enable the Spanish Association for Standardization - UNE to offer assistance and practical experience in different fields of activity that facilitate the building of competitive structures and economic and social development.
