ASEFI - ASOCIACIÓN DE FABRICANTES DE ELEMENTOS DE FIJACIÓN METÁLICOS

Standardization of: - Dimensions, tolerances, mechanical and operational properties, test methods and acceptance procedures of metallic fasteners, considering a fastener as any kind of product intended to mechanically join two or more structural items to perform a fixed or mobile joint or to essentially contribute to perform it, as screws, bolts, studs, nuts, washers, nails, pins and rivets; - Series of interchangeable threads, including tolerances and verification, in each field of application, with a minimum sort of basic profiles, pitches and diameters. Excluding: - Fasteners for aerospatial applications; - Special purpose screws, keys and fasteners specially used in rolling bearings; - Pipe threads and aerospatial threads.
