The Digitization Coordinator of the Spanish Association for Standardization, UNE, José Antonio Jiménez, took part in the 6th Forum - Alliance for the Development of Digital Talent, organised by AMETIC on 26 October under the slogan "Digital skills, the key to growth and transformation" UNE's Digitalisation Coordinator presented the relevance of knowledge of technical standards for companies, professionals and the training sector - in short, the important role played by standards in boosting ICT skills.
This initiative was part of the European Digital Skills & Jobs Coalition initiative and was held to coincide with the European Year of Skills. It has also fostered a national ecosystem for the development and recognition of talent enabling digital transformation in Spain.
This sixth edition of the event brought together the most important decision-makers from the business, public and academic sectors, making it a social event with multiple networking opportunities, with the participation of top-level companies, business schools, universities, the Administration and the media.
The meeting lasted a full day, with in-depth interviews, institutional interventions, keynote speakers, round tables and workshops, culminating in the presentation of the Digital Skills Awards Spain 2023.
