UNE welcomes 31 new members

06/03/2023

A total of 31 new members have joined the Spanish Association for Standardization (UNE), since December 2021. A welcome meeting was held to find out more about the Spanish standards body, which will focus towards the Strategy 2025 in response to the challenges faced by society and the needs of our members.

The event was attended by Alfredo Berges, Chairman of UNE; Javier García, CEO of UNE Julián Caballero, Deputy Director General of UNE; Paloma García; Director of Standardisation and Stakeholder Programmes at UNE and Vanesa Guerrero, Communication Director at UNE.

These leading entities, from a broad cross section of industries, have opted for UNE as a place from which to contribute to the competitiveness of companies and to the progress of society and to the creation of a safe, sustainable and competitive world. The members include relevant associations, as well as large companies, SMEs, universities, professional colleges and technological institutes.

Being a member means belonging a large national, international and European multisectoral network, a model case of public-private partnership in which the Pubic Administrations participate. UNE's membership distinguishes organisations with a superior strategic view of their value contribution to their sector and the Spanish economy as a whole.

With these new members, the Association has grown its membership base to over 500. UNE members are the real driving force and support of the standardisation system, representing virtually all of Spain's business and economic fabric.

Individuals and entities interested in business excellence and social awareness have a place in UNE as corporate members (sector associations), members (companies and institutions) and individuals.
